Ugo Bordoni
Ugo Bordoni was born in Rome in 1884. He was only 22 when he graduated in Engeneering at the University of Rome.
In 1923 he was assigned the professorship of Technical Fisics. He dedicated himself to the study of Thermodynamics, Thermotechnics and Acustics.
His activity as Researcher and Master is documented in hundreds of publications.
In the early 30's he focused on the development of the Telephone Sector. He was nominated President of STET until he died in 1952.
The great consideration obtained by Ugo Bordoni induced the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications to name after him a Foundation that was being formed to perform scientific research in the field of Telecommunications.
The Ugo Bordoni Foundation was established in 1952 as moral entity.
