Maurizio Pellegrini

He has graduated in 2006 from the Usiversity of Rome “Tor Vergata” with a master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering. He has a PhD in Telecommunication Engineering and Microelectronics. In 2015 he obtained the Certification for Privacy Officer and General Counsel of Privacy with the scheme developed by TÜV Italy according to ISO/IEC 17024:2012 (Registry CDP n. 183).

He have been working at the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni since 2006. He has been the Project Manager of the Registro Pubblico delle Opposizioni (www.registrodelleopposizioni.it) since 2010, whose design, implementation and management have been entrusted through service contract by the Ministry of Economic Development to the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni. In 2014/2015 he has been Project Manager of the project entrusted by the Italian Communications Regulatory Authority (AGCOM) to the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni relevant to design and implement the technology infrastructure for submission and management of applications for copyright infringement according to Delibera AGCOM 680/13/CONS (www.ddaonline.it).

In 2015 he has been appointed as Project Manager of the Paladin project, entrusted by FAPAV to the Ugo Bordoni Foundation. Since 2009 he has been part of the staff of the Director of Research. He  represents Fondazione Ugo Bordoni in RES4MED (Renewable Energy Solution for Mediterranean) association.

He dealt with standardization topics, as part of TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) project, innovative multimedia interfaces design for MAMI project (in collaboration with ISCTI) and in the analysis of national and international scenario of connected TV (in collaboration with ISCTI), as part of the TV ++ project.

He belongs to the FUB Center of Competence "ICT Policy", with particular reference to issues related to data protection and digital rights.
