ITU Internet Report 2006 is the eighth in the series of "ITU Internet Reports" originally launched in 1997 by the International Telecom-munication Union.

Written by a team of analysts from ITU's Strategy & Policy Unit (SPU), this eight edition of the ITU Internet Reports, entitled "digital.life", focuses on consumers and looks at how human lives are being continuously shaped and re-shaped by advances in digital technologies.
