Degree in Electronic Engineering at the University La Sapienza, Marconi Italiana Award, best thesis in the field of signal processing (1986). She joined FUB since 1987, awarded member of the Technical and Scientific Audit in June 2018.
Her main research interests are in the field of multimedia communications and systems and artificial intelligence.
She is involved in several studies and projects and has published extensively in international contexts contributing to conferences, journals, books and technical reports. IEEE Member.
Since 2001 she is Lecturer at the University RomaTRE – Signals Theory, Electronic Systems and Application Strategies for Renewable Sources and Cultural Heritage and since 2014 Lecturer of ICT applied to Cultural Heritage at II level Master. She trained hundreds of University students, coordinating the execution of their master and doctoral thesis, dealing with the development of innovative and efficient algorithms in the field of multimedia applications.
