As a Senior Researcher at the Ugo Bordoni Foundation since 2010, he boasts a solid academic background, having earned a degree in Telecommunications Engineering with honors in 2006 from the University of Rome La Sapienza. He also holds a PhD in Information and Communication Engineering, obtained in 2010 from the same university, and has enriched his experience as a visiting student at the University of California, San Diego.

 

Throughout his career at FUB, he has honed a wide range of skills, from blockchain technologies to significant experiences in digital transformation of the public sector. For instance, in public e-procurement, he collaborated with AgID to establish national technical guidelines and served as an elected member of the Change Management Board for OpenPEPPOL. He has designed and coordinated complex systems for the digitalization of Public Administration and the monitoring of qualitative aspects in electronic communications, collaborating with MIMIT and AGCOM.

 

His technical expertise spans from signal processing to artificial intelligence, where he has been recognized with the ‘Antonio Zampolli’ Award for the best doctoral thesis on Automatic Language Processing. As the author of numerous scientific publications and a patent on blockchain methods for managing sensitive data, he has been collaborating with Roma Tre University since 2023, teaching the principles and fundamentals of innovative technologies such as blockchain.

 

Since 2021, he has been a member of the Operations, Planning, and Project Development Director’s team, supporting the Foundation in organizational and strategic activities, such as preparing annual activity programs for the PAs and managing relationships with external parties.
