Marina Lotti has been a researcher at the Ugo Bordoni Foundation since 2025, where she carries out research activities in the field of next-generation wireless communications.
She received her Master’s degree cum laude in Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering in 2020 and her Ph.D. in 2025 from the University of Bologna. Between 2020 and 2021, she worked at CEA-LETI in Grenoble (France), where she took part in measurement campaigns and radio channel characterization at millimeter-wave and Terahertz frequencies.
Her research interests mainly focus on high-frequency localization and communication systems, as well as the use of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces for the design of smart radio environments.
She is the author and co-author of several publications in journals and conference proceedings and has received the Best Paper Award at IEEE ICC 2023.
