Since 2024, Alessio Carmenini has been a research fellow at Fondazione Ugo Bordoni and a PhD student in the XL cycle at the University of L’Aquila. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree cum laude in Telecommunications Engineering. From 2018 to 2024, he won several research fellowships at the University of L’Aquila, gaining expertise in Software Defined Networking, cybersecurity, network slicing, and environmental monitoring. He has developed software for MEC architectures, network protocols, cybersecurity training systems, and platforms for dynamic QoS management in virtualized networks. He has contributed to the preparation of deliverables in research projects, participated in cybersecurity training initiatives, and assisted in academic activities. He is the author of scientific publications in IEEE conferences and journals.
