He graduated in Computer Engineering in 2004 from La Sapienza University of Rome, with a thesis entitled “Evaluation of Protocols for End-to-End Reliability in Transactional Web Applications.” He has worked at Fondazione Bordoni since September 2005.
At the Foundation, he contributed to the design and development of IT systems for several projects, including the Digital Terrestrial Television Switch-Off, the National Frequency Register, emergency management for the Abruzzo earthquake, Resolution 244/08/CSP of the Italian Communications Authority (MisuraInternet), the “Registro pubblico delle opposizioni”, and the National Center for Validation and Certification.
From 2014 to 2019, he served as Mayor of the Municipality of Civitavecchia, gaining experience as a local administrator.
Upon returning to the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni, he took on the role of technical manager for the “Registro pubblico delle opposizioni” – the Italian Robinson list aimed at regulating telemarketing and protecting citizens from unsolicited calls, particularly following its extension to mobile communications – a role he continues to hold.
He is also involved in the design, implementation, and management of complex IT infrastructures and oversees Fondazione Ugo Bordoni’s IT systems. He has coordinated the Foundation’s IT services and infrastructure.
