He graduated in Computer Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, where he also obtained his PhD.

During his PhD, he published scientific articles on wireless sensor networks and served as a lecturer for courses in computer network security and IoT systems. He was a visiting researcher at ETH Zurich, where he designed a highly energy-efficient hardware platform dedicated to energy neutral applications.

He collaborated with the university spin-offs WSense and WLab on the design of hardware prototypes, firmware development, and the creation of software applications for projects ranging from IoT to AI.

From 2016 to 2020, he worked at Consortium GARR, the provider that manages the national network dedicated to the education and research community. At GARR, he was involved in the design of L2, L3, and DWDM networks; protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VRRP); management and configuration of Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, and Infinera equipment; software development for network automation; and DevOps for network monitoring services and tools.

Since 2020, he has been working at FUB, where he manages and maintains the Foundation’s hardware and software infrastructure in support of projects and services. He has participated in national projects including CVCN, DINoS5G, RESTART, and Misura Internet.
