Graduated in Physics in 1994, in 1998 she obtained a specialization in Health and Biomedical Physics. She has been in FUB since 2017; her research activity is focussed on numerical simulation of exposures to 5G AAS signals, optimization of radio coverage of “mission/business” critical scenarios such as hospitals, railway stations, airports, tunnels, characterization of radio signal penetration in complex environments such as trains and cars. Previously, she worked on the effects of the closure of legacy technologies on services such as smart metering and eCall and on the electromagnetic and energetic impact of 2G/3G technologies shutdown in favour of new generation ones. Before 2017, for Consorzio Elettra 2000 she worked on electromagnetic fields levels measurement and penetration of radio signals in biological tissues. Her activity also includes analyses of national and international regulatory frameworks concerning exposure limits to electromagnetic fields. She participates in the work of national bodies (CEI CT106) and in CEPT, IEC and COST working groups. She is the author of numerous publications at international conferences and journals.
