General Director

Since 2024 he has served as Director General of the Ugo Bordoni Foundation, where he has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2023. Prior to his current role, he was Head of Government Relations & Public Policy for Italy, Iberia, and the METNA Region at VMware, and from 2006 to 2021 he was Secretary General of the Lars Magnus Ericsson Foundation.

 

He has built extensive managerial experience across a range of industries, holding senior and executive positions at Ericsson, the Italian State Mint and Polygraphic Institute, Telecom Italia, as well as other multinational companies. In these roles, he has focused on commercial strategy, business development, regulatory affairs, institutional relations, and corporate responsibility at both national and international level.

 

Alongside his professional career, he has been active in academia as a lecturer at LUISS Guido Carli University, collaborating with the chairs of Business Strategy and Digital Business Communication. He has also served on governing bodies and scientific committees in both university settings (Tor Vergata University, Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies) and associations (Confindustria, Associazione Civita).

 

He graduated with honors in Economics and Business from Sapienza University of Rome and has contributed to numerous initiatives in the fields of innovation, broadband, industrial policy, and digital transformation.

 

With solid experience in both the public and private sectors, he is committed to strengthening the role of the Ugo Bordoni Foundation as a leading center for research and technological innovation, aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives and founding values.
