Andrea Bernardini

Graduated in 2002 in Computer Engineering from the University of Rome “Roma Tre” with a thesis on web accessibility.

He held teaching positions at the University of Rome “La Sapienza ” and was Visiting Researcher at the Institute for Computing, Information and Cognitive Systems at the University of British Columbia.

In FUB he was involved in quality assessment of websites, he developed the first Italian software Accessibility validation recognised by the W3C and contributed to the technical  drafting of the Legge Stanca (n.4 2004).

He was technical coordinator of the IRMA project about innovation and exploitation of film heritage. He is also member of Europeana, the European network of cultural heritage .

He has worked in various projects on the consumer protection and IPR protection including RPO, LTE, AGCOM DDA, UIBM CARTA ITALIA.

His research focuses on issues of User Experience, Data Mining and Data Visualisation.
