Luca Costantini

Graduated cum laude in Electronic Engineering at the University of Rome TRE in 2007. The thesis on image denoising techniques has been carried out at the International Center for Signal Processing (Tampere University of Technology).

In 2011 he received the Ph.D. degree with a thesis entitled “Image retrieval based on circular harmonic functions” from University of Roma TRE. The Ph.D. studies have been carried out at the laboratories of Fondazione Ugo Bordoni.

Since 2011 he conducts research at Fondazione Ugo Bordoni, being involved in some projects such as IRMA, RPO, DDA, Almawave, Q5G, Octave, projects with UIBM (ICI and ATA).

He is author of several scientific papers published on international conference proceedings and international journals. His main research interests are signal processing, information retrieval and multimedia retrieval.
