Ferdinando Lucidi

Degree in Electronic Engineering, he dealt with algorithms, software tools and test methodologies for communication protocols.

He was involved in European projects within WAN CTS, RACE, IST and COST programs. He was a member and “rapporteur” of international commissions ITU-T and European CEPT-ETSI committees.

He was also editor of leading scientific journals and international conferences. In 2003 he began to work on DTT, where he managed the implementation of a laboratory for development and testing of DTT-MHP decoder. As project manager he collaborated with Mise for the Italian TV switch-off, the study of DTT-LTE interference and the future use of the 700 MHz band in Italy.

He also collaborated with AGCOM for the classification of DTT receivers. He is the author of over 150 works, including contributions to specialised books, articles in scientific journals, communications at international conferences, contributions to the tlc regulations and to European and national projects.
