RFId - Fondamenti di una tecnologia silenziosamente pervasiva

The new version of the italian reference book on RFId Technology, was presented on october 7th 2008 , on the occasion of the meeeting Tecnologia RFId & Mobile "Motore di Sviluppo per le Imprese Italiane"  hold in "Andrea Pininfarina" conference hall care of Confindustria, 30 Astronomia boulevard, Rome.

This book, in more than five hundred pages, summarizes the knowledge related to RFId technology and aims to be a guide for the interpretation of applications.

The book is conceived as an handbook on RFId technologies and is structured in nine parts devoted to specific issues except the first one that is an introduction in form of a generic survey on the RFID matters.

After the ninth part (after the bibliography), a part devoted to the Sponsors, that allowed the book printing, can be found.

However this book does not deal with RFId applications, because of editorial choice (to avoid interference with the RFId applications current conferences).

From this point of view it can be useful for both application designers to understand the technology available for applications and users of applications to understand technology constraints.
