The activities of the Ugo Bordoni Foundation for the year 2008 are regulated by a new convention stipulated with the Ministry of Communications on the 27th December 2007.

According to Article 1 of the Convention, the Ministry of Communications entrusts the Ugo Bordoni Foundation for activities of technical, scientific, operational, logistic and communication support, monitoring and verification.

Such activities will cover the following aspects:

• support for monitoring activities in the digital transition, arrangement of tools for updating data relative to the cadastre of infrastructures for tv broadcasting;
  
• technical support for measuring and monitoring campaigns of signal levels on the territory for the integration of previsional analysis of electromagnetic field for the calculation of the digital coverage and the quality of service of italian digital multiplexes:
  
• predisposition of analysis instruments for mutual radio electric interferences for the national co-ordination of frequencies;
  
• communication, scientific publication, information to citizen and institutions.

In the area of this Conventions, nine projects under the approval of the Technical Scientific Council were proposed and are presented in this section.
