Emiliano Pallotti

 

Emiliano Pallotti received the "Laurea" Degree (BSc/MSc) in Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", with a thesis on image inpainting algorithms carried out at Fondazione Ugo Bordoni. In 2007 he joined the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni where he currently works as researcher. Cisco certificated in 2008, he received a postgraduate Master Degree in "Technology, Applications and Services in Heterogeneous Radio Networks" from the University of L'Aquila, achieved with a project work on distributed video coding techniques carried out at Fondazione Ugo Bordoni.He has a PhD in EDEMOM (European Doctorate in Electronic Materials, Optoelectronics and Microsystems).

His research interests are in the field of computational algorithms and signals processing, with a focus on Image and Video Multidimensional Wavelet Analysis Techniques for feature extraction and representation. Recent scientific interests deal with Computational Intelligence, demand side management and Game Theory Application for Smart Grids.

He is also adjunct professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Roma Tre for the course of "Electrics and Electronics".

IEEE member,he presented several works to National and International conferences.
